healthy diet eating plan
I need a healthy eating plan. Any suggestions?

hi, I’m 5″11 and 186 lbs. I’m wanting to shape up for summer and have started a workout plan, doing weights 4 times a week and cardio every other day. I’m struggling on the healthy eating side and need a healthy diet plan. Any suggestions?

Hi Pete,

Firstly, well done for your work out regime- if you stick to this, you really will get very fit and slimmer. The most important thing about losing weight is to improve your health and fitness levels which ultimately help every aspect of your life.

The heallthy eating part is common sense:

Start with a good breakfast so that you have energy for the day:

Oatmeal/Porridge/Muesli
Bananas and Yoghurt
Poached or Boiled Egg on Toast
Green Tea

Snack during the day should be healthy and keep you from binging:
Carrots/Celery/Cucumber with humous
Oatcakes and Rice cakes
Any fruit
Nuts and Seeds

Lunch and Dinner should be high protein, complex carbs and plenty of vegetables:

Grilled Chicken, Brown Rice and brocolli
Steamed Salmon with ratatoille and brown pasta
Prawn and Brown noodle soup with mushrooms and baby corn
Quinoa with Tofu and Corgettes and tomoatoes
Tuna Steak, cous cous and salad

Cut out:
Fats
Sweets
Pastries
Too much Dairy
Too much white carbs
Caffeine
ALCOHOL

Eat little and often, don’t eat packages foods and drink lots of water.
